CNN's Ed Henry: Why not Sam Adams for Obama, Gates, Crowley summit?

CNN's Ed Henry had a good point: Samuel Adams is an all-American brew, the largest American-owned brewer. Why not pour some Boston Lager for the Obama, Gates, and Crowley summit this evening?

Apparently, the selection of the best beer is somewhat controversial.

Does CNN's Bonnie Schneider want to have a baby?

At about 8:30 a.m. today, CNN's meteorologist Bonnie Schneider was talking about airport delays and big winter storms while a sign, directly beneath her, proclaimed: I WANT A BABY.

A few seconds later, about the time I really started to believe that some CNN staffers were taking holiday liberties with their professionalism, the words scrolled over to: COMING UP.

A few more seconds, and it scrolled back to: I WANT A BABY.

Whew!

CNN: Fred Thompson rolls across 'the conservative Iowa countryside'

What makes a countryside conservative?

Apparently CNN's John King knows, although he didn't tell us.

On tonight's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, King had a RARE ON-THE-BUS INTERVIEW (according to the bottom of the screen) with Fred Thompson, the former Law & Order star and former U.S. senator who recently announced he is running for president.

"Wolf, national security dominated our discussion as the bus rolled across the conservative Iowa countryside," King said.

After much sweat and tears within our research department, we discovered that the Iowa countryside has not voted in a single election since white people started taking over the fruited plain. Earlier data is not available.

Attempts to contact the Iowa countryside via telephone were not immediately successful.
